Elindor Blog Down
For a little while now, my blog over at elindor-online.co.uk has been down and trying to access it returns an internal server error. Until this is resolved, elindor related posts will go here again. Which brings me to my next point. Development on the elindor game engine has been non-existent this summer. This is unfortunately due to technical problems whereby I cannot seem to get a working OpenGL development environment set up. I’ve tried various libaries (GLUT and freeGLUT being the main ones) and tried in both WIndows Vista and Ubuntu Hardy using several IDE’s in both. And for some reason, i’ve not managed to get a single piece of OpenGL code to compile. I have no idea why and for this reason, i’ve not been able to get started on the elindor engine. However, i have done some planning on how I want it to work, and I even have some ideas for other features, which i’ll post when I can be bothered.
